How to Submit a Short Course Proposal

The 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG) will bring together more than 1,000 leading civil engineers, researchers, regulators, material manufacturers, and sustainability and climate change experts for days of technical exchange, best practice sharing, and commercial development around geosynthetic materials in Sustainability, Transportation Infrastructure, Climate Change Response, Mining, Energy, Environmental Protection, and more.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proposals of courses to run between 2 hours and full-day (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • A focus on geosynthetics (e.g., “Design of Pavements and Railways with Geosynthetics,” “Long-Term Performance of Geomembranes in Mine Tailings Facilities”)
  • Able to be delivered in person in Montreal on September 13, 2026
  • Able to be delivered in English (the official language of the conference)

All accepted short course instructors will receive a full registration to the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG). Team teaching is allowed but the number of instructors should be minimal.
